Beautiful actress Grace Karnklao opens up on the Woody Interview program, revealing words that changed her life. She was once criticized for not being as cute as in the clip, leading to a deep lesson that made her want to leave a smile, not a scar, for everyone she meets.
Your energy is surging?
Grace: Really? I feel the same way. Sometimes I feel like sitting down first. (laughs)
Good energy must come from the outside. It must be replenished. It took me a long time to travel to get to this point. I feel that if you work, you will feel very comfortable.
Grace: I feel like we only have one chance to meet someone in our life, especially some fans or some colleagues. Isn’t that better? Of course, they’ve seen us from our memes, where we’re funny and crack jokes. But let’s say that on that day when we meet them, we have a fight with our boyfriend or have some kind of problem, a serious problem with work. There was one time when we felt like we couldn’t do it anymore. There were a lot of people who wanted to take a picture with us, but at that time, we wanted to cry because we just looked at our phones and something happened. We felt that the difficulty of life is that we can’t do everything. And there was one time when Grace couldn’t smile proudly and couldn’t be herself in the way that we were on camera, so that other people would see it and be impressed and remember us from that meme.
Grace remembers that day, a fan walked up behind her and said that she wasn’t as nice as she looked in the clip. Those words changed her life completely because she didn’t feel like she had to make everyone admire her. She wanted everyone to feel like she was really who she was and wasn’t fake. She also wanted people to understand her. But no one could understand how she felt at that time or what she had to go through. That was the point that made Grace feel that she had the chance to meet someone once in her life. She didn’t know if it was her or someone else who might go first.
We might not meet or, let’s say we meet today, it might be the last time we meet. I didn’t intend to do that to everyone, but I just felt that I didn’t want to leave any scars. I wanted to leave a smile or a gift when I thought of this woman. Because when we don’t give to him, we come back to be with ourselves, which makes it hurt even more. This makes us unable to give happiness to other people. Grace sees it as our duty to give them happiness. And does Woody remember that there was an event where Grace was a presenter?
Then Woody went to the event and said to Grace… Be happy that we still have a job. We have been in the industry for too long, Grace. This word has changed my life as well. I appreciate everything. Do you remember saying this? It is another word that has an impact and really hits my heart that yes, thank you to everyone, for all the confidence, thank you for all the work, thank you to my body, thank you to my brain. It makes us still speak and still show ourselves and people still like these things. It has become that every day after that, plus when we study, it has become that on days when we feel discouraged, feel tired, we hug ourselves and thank them. And the feeling of thanking ourselves, loving ourselves, Grace believes that it is very important. The body and mind are 100% linked. Therefore, when we are stressed, we try to deal with it as quickly as possible.
What do you do when you encounter something bad?
Grace: For Grace, there is one word, take a shower. Don’t forget to take a shower of your heart because the heart is important. We take a shower every day, no matter how dirty it is, it will be clean. But if we don’t wash our hearts, we will sleep with negative thoughts and feelings that will accumulate in our subconscious and brain. If we don’t really try to understand it, it will be difficult. If we expect things that we don’t get, we will be disappointed all the time. The energy will drop and we will not have the motivation to work or even live happily because we have already hung our goals there.
How do you take a bath?
Grace: I used to be someone who couldn’t meditate at all. Then, when I started studying, I realized that meditating for 15 minutes can increase the body’s ability to produce glutathione by 40%.
Entertainment or health?
Grace: Grace calls it an investment because the most valuable thing is time. I feel like if we have entertainment assets, wouldn’t it be better if we sit down first and go to the health side? And combine both of them into something that can provide knowledge to ourselves, our loved ones, our followers, or people we may not know who come across our clips. And what did they gain from what we learned? I feel very happy that I was right. Study deeply, know the roots. We are all like a tree. Problems can have beautiful leaves and strong branches, but they must come from strong roots. It is the entire mechanism of the body’s functioning. I feel very grateful that this kind of learning has occurred.
