Wow! This week’s episode of “Woody Sing” features three hot artists with three styles: Henry Moodie, a rising British artist with a unique style; Nene Pornnapan, a Thai artist who is famous in China; and Sarah Sarola, a cool girl with a sweet voice who is a social media favorite. This special gathering made fans go “wow” and all said with one voice that their ears were gold-plated for their amazing vocal performance. Henry also revealed the secret of the hit song that connects with Thai people and talked about the three people’s favorite Thai food.

I’m so glad we got to ride together today. Is everyone doing well?
Henry: I’m fine. Thank you.
Nene: I feel very good to be on the show. I’m fine.
Sarah: I’m fine.

How long have we been listening to your music since Drunk Text came out?
Henry: It’s been out for about a year and a half. It’s incredible.

Then you came to Thailand. I saw you appear at Siam Square?
Henry: Yeah, it was incredible. We thought there would only be about 10 people watching, but then it turned into 5,000 people. It was amazing. I really appreciate the support from Thai people.

Nene, since you’ve come back, what have you had the opportunity to do?
Nene: I only make music. I try to release songs, including Thai songs.

Sarah, today I have high expectations from Sarah. Please help me sing.
Sarah: (laughs) Actually, I expect the same from you, P’Nen.

Have you ever texted while drunk like in the song Drunk Text?
Henry: Once or twice. The song is about texting. I typed it when I was drunk and then deleted it. Then I wrote the song the next day. And in the song, it says, “I hope that the person I’m texting, I hope that it’s him who texts me.” But of course, I’ve texted when I was drunk before. And I accidentally sent it to my mom once.

What did you send to your mother?
Henry: I sent it saying… I’m so drunk, can you come pick me up? But at that time, I intended to send it to a friend. (laughs) Actually, I don’t drink much anymore.

Sarah has released a lot of singles. Are you used to being in the media or on shows now?
Sarah : I’m not used to it yet, but it’s been fun lately. I get to meet people.

Nene and Sarah, is today the first time you’ve met?
Nene: I’ve met her in passing at the same event. She looks really cool. In person, she’s really soft and gentle.
Sarah: It seems like everyone is used to seeing me as this cool guy, but I’m actually quite soft.

When will each person’s new single be released?
Nene: It should be around September. The song is called Perfect Ash You Are because my hair color is gray (laughs).
Henry: At the end of September, it will be released as an EP. There will be 6 songs in total, 3 of which have already been released. The other 3 songs are called Good Old Days, The Old Me, and Still Dancing. I feel very excited. Especially Still Dancing, it’s a personal feeling and I’m excited for everyone to hear it. It’s a rather fragile song, so I’m a little worried, but I’m excited. It’s the second heartbreak song, and it’s quite depressing. It’s a really depressing time after a breakup.
Sarah: Probably about two more months.

Where are you going next after Thailand, Henry?
Henry: Back home. This is the last stop of my Asia tour and I’m so happy to end the tour with such a good response because I love Thailand so much. I’m so excited.

Tell us about your relationship with Thai people?
Henry: Actually, the song Drunk Text is about my relationship with Thailand, my secret love for Thailand. In terms of country, I love Thailand, it’s a great country. I live in a small village, not too crowded, but there’s a Thai restaurant nearby, and I grew up eating Thai food almost every week.

Did you grow up in England?
Henry: In England, in a small village, there was a Thai family who opened a Thai pub. And this restaurant was in the pub. I ate there often. Thai food is my favorite. I love Thai food.

What is your favorite Thai food?
Henry: I like to eat tom kha. I like it very much. It’s very delicious. I can eat spicy food. I like spicy food.

So, what kind of Thai food do Nene and Sarah like to eat?
