Why do you get a tattoo?
Toey Apiwat: I want to be cool. At first, before getting the tattoo, I was afraid.
Which hurts more: getting a tattoo or not being loved?
Toey Apiwat: It should be about the same (laughs).
Why do you want to change your look?
Toey Apiwat: Because I see Brother Ble as an idol.
Someone asked how did you get along with Buell Pathumrat?
Toey Apiwat: Ble is a person who gets along with people easily. He’s a friendly person. It makes me feel comfortable talking to him because normally I’m a person who doesn’t have a social life. I’ll go to work and then go home. I’ll just be with my team. I don’t really go anywhere. He’s the only one who can take me to a dirty place. (laughs) Just kidding.
What have we learned from being artists and teachers in the past year 2024?
Toey Apiwat: When I was a teacher, I was considered successful in a career that my family expected me to be a civil servant. I did that job to the fullest and felt happy in that career, giving knowledge. After a while, the work couldn’t balance, so I decided to choose concerts so that the team would have a way to earn money. Because if we focused on being teachers, concerts would only be available on Saturdays and Sundays. Because it was the post-COVID era, the work wasn’t the same, so I had to do this full time.
Now you have two children?
Toey Apiwat: I intend to. Actually, I’ve been trying for 6 months. I got married in May and just got pregnant in December. As for the second one, it’s been about 3 months now.
Now I have separated from my wife. We might meet again. Nothing is certain. How is your heart now?
Toey Apiwat: Right now, I’m just focusing on my child and work. I haven’t thought about it yet. If I do, I’ll keep going.
When it comes to concerts, I must say that the schedule is very busy?
Toey Apiwat: In 1 month, it’s about 10-20. I only accept what I can go to. Currently, I mainly do concerts. I write all the songs myself.
