Because on January 23, 2025, Thailand will become the first country in Southeast Asia and the second country in Asia after Taiwan to officially recognize marriage equality.

“Woody Vuthithorn” revealed his feelings that… Thailand’s marriage equality law has come into effect! W.D. read The Times newspaper from England, which is a world-class media outlet. He brought up the issue of Thailand’s marriage equality law and told the story of Woody and Oat. This is one of the moments that W.D. feels the happiest and proudest in his life. It wasn’t easy to get to this day because 11 years ago, the two of us had to hold a wedding in secret. But on January 23rd, it will become another important history when the marriage equality law will officially come into effect.

Which W.D. would like to say that this law is not just about us, but it is a victory for equality for everyone. W.D. is very glad that Thai brothers and sisters have received this right and hopes that The Times presenting this story to the eyes of the world will be an inspiration for many countries that are still waiting for change to see this example and move towards equality together with us.
