Worldwide acquaintances!! Why do we have to say Thank you kateyki? A special interview on WOODY FM with “Aon Somruthai”, a super popular TikToker and businesswoman with a great profile, the sweetheart of “Dr. Song Nopparat”, who opens up for the first time! About the origin of the popular words that people all over the world repeat, revealing that she is happy and thankful that “Lisa-BamBam” watch the clip.
Is this your first interview?
Aon Somruthai: Yes.
You are so famous that no matter where you go, in any city, people will know you. How do you feel? What do they say?
Aon Somruthai: He asked, “Are you On?” “Tekki, if you were a foreigner, would you ask to take a photo?” We were very confused because he recognized us.
Do you want to greet and say something to your Thai and international fans?
Aon Somruthai: Thank you for following me and watching my videos. Thank you all so much. Love you.
Is there one thing that is a knot in On’s life regarding English?
Aon Somruthai: I couldn’t speak before. I could speak a few words. The problem in my life at that time was that I went to study abroad for the first time in my life in Sweden on a scholarship. I went to study and I didn’t learn much. There was a Sunday market. There were a lot of people. So I went for a walk. There was a cheese shop that sold very well. There were a lot of people. I wanted to eat it so much. So I went to wait in line. I was Asian, 170 cm tall. Everyone else was very tall. It was like they came out of a magazine. Then there was a handsome guy standing next to me. Then he stepped on my foot. Then he said, “Oh! Sorry.” It hurt so much at that time. He said, “I’m sorry.” Then On said, “Oh! Thank You.” (laughs)
So it just stuck in your mouth?
Aon Somruthai: I don’t know what to say. It’s automatic. It’s your habit. In Thai, when someone gives you something, you say thank you. It’s automatic. In English, I can say thank you first. (laughs) They were confused about the origin of the word “Thank You”.
Let’s talk about your bodyguard, Teki?
Aon Somruthai: Actually, his name is Tae. I got to know him because we have a brand name store and there was a sale event and there were a lot of customers and we had to have bodyguards for the store to watch who was picking up what. That day I was free so I came and that person was near the front. Come play with On a little. At first, there was no name in the first clip. The next clip is just making another clip. What’s your name? Tae. It’s very manly. I’ll make you a new one. It’s you, Teki.
Have you become a regular bodyguard?
Aon Somruthai: I’m now a regular content bodyguard (laughs). As for Khun Noi, the housekeeper, I’m a viewer.
Lisa, did you see the clip?
Aon Somruthai: Yes, Lisa was making brownies. Then he was like… Thank you, Tekki. It’s so cute.
How do you feel?
Aon Samruthai: There’s a clip that has 30 million views that reacted. It’s like a dream.
Do you have anything to say to Lisa?
Aon Somruthai: Lisa, I love you very much. Thank you for thanking you, Tekki. On is very happy. On likes Lisa very much. Lisa is very talented. I will continue to follow Lisa’s work. I love you, Lisa.
Bambam too, right?
Aon Somruthai: Actually, I was going to record a video of me taking a photo with him, but I didn’t think he would say this. He said… I’m such a fan. I watch him every day.
How do you feel about making people happy when they watch your clips?
Aon Somruthai: I feel happier than those who are happy because we also watch it. We watch people who cover us. It’s funny. Sometimes I repost some clips or comment on them. I also read the comments. It’s funny. Thai people are funny. When foreigners comment, it’s funny too.
