When you were growing up, did your parents tell you what you wanted to be?
Gun Jom Phalang: My mother really wants me to study. I remember it. But I don’t love studying. I only graduated from NFE. High school, but the timing of my life is lucky enough to be here. My mother expects me to study and get a good job. Come be the face of your mother. I want to graduate with a bachelor’s degree so that I don’t embarrass people. At that time, it was during COVID, with a group of friends gathering money together. At that time, it was a time when many people were sick. I couldn’t find a car to pick me up, so I bought a car.
So everyone set up a group account and transferred money to buy a car to go pick up sick people. From pick-up to drop-off, there was a lack of beds. Started coordinating to find adults Let an adult help. So we kept doing it. Focus on helping people who are really struggling. As soon as we can help, people start to contact us. But this time, when I contacted him, it went beyond COVID and went to other issues. I was bullied by influential people here and there, so we tried to coordinate with the elders, who are adults. I keep doing it. In the past, I wanted to do something like this since I was a child. In the past, when I was running a noodle shop, I had money stolen by subordinates. It wasn’t just one person; the entire store was involved in stealing. I’ve never told anyone this before. I got caught because it started with a child losing his benefits. which stole 20–30,000 baht per day. In the past, I used to sell very good noodles for 200,000 baht per day.
Your bill checking system is not a computer system?
Gun Jom Phalang: I keep it fresh. Before, I had difficulty. I put one bowl in a plastic bag. When taking orders, tear off a piece of note paper and put it in here. The customer collects money and puts it in. I never knew how many bowls were sold. How much money did you get? There was only paper and cash. The subordinates at the end of work are responsible for collecting papers and counting them. No matter how much money you take out, take it out according to the paper. For example, if one day we sell for $50,000, there may be 20,000 left for us. The catch is at night, after cheating. Steal money and share it among others. The youngest child does not get money. Seniors take advantage of us. When we do this often, children feel that they are being taken advantage of. So you came to tell me, Do you know that money is being stolen right now? Some people quit and took the money back. Until today, the money was not returned. This is a lesson in my life. Instead, they took bombs and threw them at the shop three times. That was the turning point in my life. It made me heartbroken that when we gave people the opportunity to hurt us and steal our money, in the end, they didn’t think about the good things we gave them. After that, I went to report the crime, but they didn’t accept it. I don’t know why. Don’t accept reports; just keep a daily diary. But I came to know that 1 out of 30 people are my subordinates.
One person used to be a person with a famous last name. And I was reported back by this subordinate saying that I had defamed the Computer Crime Act, which I should have been the first person in the country to be charged with. True! I’ve never told anyone. Do you believe that I have to bail myself out at the court? What is the feeling like? Does justice happen to the poor? Does it happen to people who are not famous? That’s been on my heart ever since. Then I fought the case until I won. I can remember the day I bailed. When will I have money? On what days do I have merit? If caught, there is no chance. I cut it off immediately. Because I think I am good enough to be with someone who is good to me. I won’t tolerate people who hurt me.
How do you deal with influencers?
Gun Jom Phalang: There will be people who don’t know why I’m doing this. Did you come to ask for money? Suppose you go to shake things up or fight with politicians. There will be contact. Gun Jom Phalang: When asked about threats, there are a lot of good-mouthed people like that. There are a lot of comments. But you asked me if I was afraid. I’m not afraid, but I’m careful.
